“THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME” Listen To Apostle Paul Speak About Idol Worship

The Lord our God gave this command without mixing words, to the point and firm as he could. 

3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

This command was given to The Children of ISRAEL with good reason, God had delivered them from bondage/slavery incurred on them for 400 years. They suffered at the hands of the Egyptians for no fault of their own accept that they were The Children of The Promise and that promise began to manifest right there in Egypt. This brought fear into the lives of the Egyptians. For this reason God gave this command and rightfully so he should be honored in this command. 

 “I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” 

God continues to show his love to all mankind, His love for us is unmeasurable and there is evidence in all the works of his Mighty Hands. Here in is why Idol Worship makes no since. Why would man worship and pray to something they have created. Something that can’t see, Talk, or Hear your cries. A mouth but can not talk or utter a sound. Why would we give the Credit to Idols for the Life God gave to us. This is wickedness in the eyes of God. 

ACTS 17:24-27 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.

ACTS Chapter 19:23-41 ends our Study on Idol Worship, HIGHER POWERS-WORSHIP OF THE ENERGY & THE UNIVERSE!  

Remember, All Glory and Honor is belongs to ELOHIM JEHOVAH THE LORD our GOD! 

ISAIAH 42:5-8 5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

I am a Spritual Advisor, Pastor and Elder to most people. To my family I am Virginia's son. I grew up in Connecticut, attended School from pre-to high school, Served in the Army National Guard, The Father of 5 sons and the Husband of one loving wife of 32 years. I've been a member of the household of faith all my life. I have not always done according to the will of God and found myself drifting away. I often found myself lost and shut out, not knowing who I was or who I should be. One thing I did know is that a Life without God was not for me. I quickly got up and dusted myself off and went home. Just like the Prodigal Son I spent my time parting, and indulging in a lifestyle that was not conducive to health or spiritual living. Yes I ran back to Jesus and he welcomed me, cleaned me up and gave me a new lease on life. I have since then never considered turning away. I find myself wanting, desiring to help others find the Joy, Peace and Love that Christ has shown me. My friends there can be no comparrison to the life God through Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God, The Life He has to offer is second to none. JOHN 10:10 The Theif Cometh not, but to steal, and kill, and destroy: Iam come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the visionary of the ministry of God and I will do his will for the rest of my life. God's Living Water Ministry-CLG derives from EZEKIAL CHP 47.
