Summary

1ST SAMUEL CHP 8:1-22

These Scriptures depict a time when the Children of Israel chose to turn away from God who had delivered them from the hand of oppression and slavery down in Egypt. God had been their Leader during their Journey in the wilderness. There is no doubt that God has been good to them but they in turn has rejected his Kindness and Love.

Verse 5 of Chp 8:  And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

Today in our times and society we have forsaken the presence of God and removed God from our presence. We in many ways have asked to be like other nations. Nations who would rather serve Idol Gods than the True and Living God. We took Prayer out of our School Systems and out of our Governmental Establishments. We watch our children being destroyed in their class and on the streets. The one place where they should feel safe there is no safety. We are blinded by the evil that has permeated our world. Satan appears to have taken control, Say it’s not so!

Verse 7 & 8 of Chp 8:  And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. 8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.

This decision proved to be the down fall of a mighty nation. They found themselves persecuted and tormented by other nations. They fell away from worshiping God and worshiped Satan. They bowed down to Idols and dove deep into sin. Their rejection of God proved to be the worse decision they ever made. Is there any wonder why America is being persecuted today. Our children are being killed and killing each other. We allow our children to watch Video Games that train them in our homes to commit acts of violence and hatred. We sit away from our children while this Evil Permeates their minds with Blood, Guts and Violence. Shooting and Stabbing, using Cars to Run people down in the streets.

PROVERBS 22:13 The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.

We sit and say nothing while the enemy Kills, Steals and Destroys our future. Who is our Future, our Children is our future. We buy the and bring the tools of Satan into our homes. Murder and Rape Videos, Shooting and Killing and Stabbing Videos. We see but we are to Lazy to do anything about.

PROVERBS 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

This is Biblical and admonishes us to Teach our Children about God. Instead we are Training Them to commit Evil by giving them the murderous videos. What we feed the mind will be the desires of the mind. And yes they will not depart from it but will become the murderers and persecutors of the future. If we don’t change we are heading for self destruction via our children.

ISAIAH 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

Lets give our children a chance for peace, let us bring prayer back into our schools and our homes. Let us come together and allow our children tp love one another. Let us take back our Children by Bring God Back Into Our Homes and Our Schools and Into Our Governmental Systems. It’s Up To Us, Can We Do It? Yes We Can!

I am a Spritual Advisor, Pastor and Elder to most people. To my family I am Virginia's son. I grew up in Connecticut, attended School from pre-to high school, Served in the Army National Guard, The Father of 5 sons and the Husband of one loving wife of 32 years. I've been a member of the household of faith all my life. I have not always done according to the will of God and found myself drifting away. Just like the Prodigal Son I spent my time parting, and indulging in a lifestyle that was not conducive to health or spiritual living. Yes I ran back to Jesus and he welcomed me, cleaned me up and gave me a new lease on life. I have since then never considered turning away. I find myself wanting, desiring to help others find the Joy, Peace and Love that Christ has shown me. My friends there can be no comparrison to the life God through Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God, The Life He has to offer is second to none. JOHN 10:10 The Theif Cometh not, but to steal, and kill, and destroy: Iam come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
